Queen of all private collections, one of the most beautiful museums in Italy. Cardinal Scipione Borghese modelled its casino in the XVII century on the villas of classical Rome , using it as a museum for the display of his remarkable collection. It houses classical statuary, Roman mosaics, Bernini's spectacular statues, masterpieces by Caravaggio, Giorgione, Raphael, Correggio, Titian, Domenichino and Rubens among others.
